Columbia Montessori School is a small family-oriented school with over 40 years of a proven track record of nurturing young minds. Our close-knit community ensures personalized attention for each student. Our teachers are certified in the AMS Montessori method ensuring they are well-versed in guiding your child’s educational journey. At Columbia Montessori School, we believe in fostering a love for learning through a child-centered approach. We are also a part of the Excel program recognized by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) for providing quality education.
We are located in the Village of Wilde Lake, five minutes from the Mall in Columbia. The school is located directly across the parking lot from the Faulkner Ridge Center. The school day at Columbia Montessori School is a balance of academic preparation using the Montessori Method and free choice. We have made our school a peanut and tree nut free environment to serve the many children allergic to these foods. We offer a variety of program schedules designed to meet the needs of today’s family. Our assistant teachers have approved Credentials in Child Development and Day Care Certifications. All our staff are caring and dedicated to the children and the school. We pride ourselves in the longevity of their careers.
